Prima Seguros, insurtech that acts as an insurance agency specialized in the automotive sector, appoints Ignacio Gámez as the new Head of Claims in Spain. This appointment is a key element in Prima's efforts to redefine and digitalize the claims management process, thereby reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence in customer service.

With a degree in Law and Business Administration by the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid, Gámez began his professional career at Accenture, working on technology projects for financial institutions in Spain, the United Kingdom and Latin America. Later on, he expanded his expertise in e-commerce, working for Amazon in Spain and Rocket Internet in Latin America. After completing an MBA at Insead, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he worked mainly on digital transformation and growth projects in the Telecommunications and Retail industries. Finally, before joining Prima, he was Sales Director in Spain for a SaaS company.

In his new role as Head of Claims, Ignacio will lead the creation of a completely new department, replacing previously outsourced functions and establishing an internal system that will improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. With this appointment, Prima Seguros aims to continue transforming the insurance landscape with a customer-centric approach and its disruptive model, through the application of technology and data.

Prima is currently recruiting for several positions within the Claims department, including Claims Processing, Front & Back Office, as well as Data Analytics. Additionally, a full technology stack is being assembled to support the entire claims handling lifecycle, leveraging Prima's technological capabilities.
