Milan, September 16th 2025 – Following its successful debut last year, Prima’s Intermediary Network Roadshow has returned to Italy for 2025. This travelling series of events reaffirms Prima’s commitment to the agent and broker partners within its intermediaries network. It aims to help further their success.
In just over five years, Prima’s intermediary network has established itself as the company’s primary growth driver in Italy. Over a third of Prima’s insurance policies are now sold through intermediaries, surpassing sales through price comparison websites and its own site. In fact, by August this year, the company had collected the same amount of premiums through intermediaries as it did for the entirety of 2024.
It has now set its 2025 target for the channel at 50% year-on-year growth. What’s more, Prima expects to close this year with around 5 million customers in Italy.
Attracting huge demand, the Intermediary Network Roadshow will come to seven major Italian cities from September to November: Mestre, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Rome, Naples and Catania. It reflects the network’s widespread presence across Italy.
The roadshow is a chance for Prima to introduce new features and technological developments for its intermediaries. These include new payment methods, activity management software and an account area for customers. On the product front, noteworthy additions include new liability limits of up to €50 million and new guarantees.
"We are thrilled to have the Roadshow to showcase the important new tech and product developments we have implemented by listening to the needs of our intermediary partners,” says Giulio Apostolo, Commercial Director of Prima. “These will allow them to offer an increasingly efficient and personalised service.
“Our Partner Intermediary Network is – and will continue to be in the coming years – a channel we invest in significantly. We look forward to achieving new goals together. The Network makes a valuable contribution not only in terms of sales, but also in terms of new features and products. Meetings like the Roadshow allow us to share experiences and strategies, listen to the network's proposals and build a shared innovation and development vision."
