We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the Engineering Accounting team, responsible for ensuring that our internal stakeholders for each country can rely on trusted numbers when talking about financial data and to make every process smooth and reliable. Also, a team with a proven track record of challenging the status quo through the entire Prima technological stack!
We’re in love with programming as a whole but in particular, we’re into functional programming and memory-safe languages. We foster a culture of sharing, collaboration, and safety as a person and as an engineer and we usually work through pair or mob programming. We gather periodically to enjoy in-person team-building events.
Our team works in an agile-fashioned way, leveraging Scrum but remaining flexible when pragmatism suggests to. We are in strict contact with our product team and our stakeholders. We value our time and our lives: life-work balance matters for us.
As a Software Engineer in the Accounting team you will:
Collaborate with financial stakeholders, product managers, cross-functional development teams, and data scientists to deliver the best solutions
Architect, develop and document code and libraries to ensure our systems are reliable and maintainable, leveraging best coding and contributing practices
Leverage and improve your observability knowledge to ensure scalability, consistency, reliability of our systems
Conduct code reviews, get and provide constructive feedback, improve the team’s way of working and ensure consistent practices
Contribute to fostering a positive culture: continuous learning, sharing sessions, personal development time. We grow together!
Key Requirements
Team player, proactive, curious
Professional programming experience (min. 3y)
Ready to work with Rust, Elixir, and data pipelines (Python, SQL)
Comfortable working in an Agile environment
Comfortable working with containerized and serverless technologies
Comfortable working in pair/mob
Knowledge of CQRS/ES patterns
English fluency
Nice to have
Professional experience with at least one between Rust and Elixir
Professional experience with data engineering
Knowledge about TDD / BDD
Knowledge about RabbitMQ / Kafka
