Matthew has significant Board and investment experience in Financial Services, Insurance and Price Comparison. As the former CEO of BGL Group, the leading digital distributor of insurance and household Financial Services in the UK and Europe, he founded Comparethemarket.com and led the business to achieve its market leading position. Matthew currently Chairs a number of private equity backed, high growth businesses including Three Rock Group in Ireland (incorporating Chill.ie), and Reassured the leading life insurance distributer in the UK, he also sits on the Board of Tandem Bank.

Massimo is a professor of practice at Bocconi University, where he leads Digital Tech at Bocconi 4 Innovation (B4I). He’s also a Partner at Corporate Hangar, a venture builder that help turn innovative ideas into start-ups. He retired from Goldman Sachs in 2021, where he’d been a partner for over a decade. Before Goldman Sachs, Massimo was a Managing Director at JP Morgan from 1993 to 2006. He also worked at Credito Italiano from 1988 to 1993.

Nicola is a Managing Director and Deputy Head of Carlyle Illiquid Credit in Europe. Before joining Carlyle, he was a Managing Director at Oz Management, focused on private credit investments. He was also an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at JPMorgan Chase Bank, where he was a member of both the Merger & Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance groups. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bocconi University, plus an MBA from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

David was CEO and Chairman of JGWPT (the holding company for J Wentworth and Peachtree). He transformed it from a bankrupt private company to an NYSE-listed business, valued at over $800M. Prior to JGWPT, he was EVP for Ace's $1.2B international accident and health insurance business. He was also CEO of Kemper Auto and Home Insurance and COO of Providian Direct Insurance. David began his insurance career with Progressive Insurance, where he held various roles. These include Division Controller, Senior Product Manager and National Customer Manager.

Our co-founder George began preparations for Prima’s launch in 2013. When we went live in 2015, he stepped up as our General Manager and helped secure our early success in Italy. He now serves as our CEO and is focused on taking Prima global. Before Prima, George worked as a consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. He holds two MBAs: one from IESE Business School and another from Columbia Business School.

Christian is a partner in Growth Equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management having joined Goldman Sachs in 2004. He leads a team making growth equity investments ($30m to $250m) in software, technology and other high growth companies across Europe and Israel. Christian holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Emanuele is the Managing Director of Neurone, a technology-focused investment group. He oversees all investment activities and operations of the group. Before Neurone, he was a Vice President in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs, and he has over 12 years of investment banking experience at Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Lehman Brothers in London and New York.
