To help fuel that growth, we need a Data Scientist to join our Italian Pricing & Underwriting team (if you're curious, you can get a glimpse of the team's life here).

This team is the strategic engine behind Prima’s growth.

As part of this team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and strengthening our competitive edge. Using creativity, data and machine learning, you’ll help predict the future and set the right prices, keeping our offering both attractive and sustainable. You’ll work with your data science tools and skills to bring real-world impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action and fuel innovation across the company.

What you’ll do:

Leverage Machine Learning and advanced data analytics to identify risks and opportunities for each new client;

Analyze and interpret complex data to support strategic decision-making;

Contribute directly to the company’s growth and long-term success through actionable insights.

What we’re looking for:

Academic Excellence: Impressive academic achievements in Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering, Physical Engineering, or Statistics;

Experience Not Required: No prior work experience? No problem! We're eager to invest in your talent and education;

Analytical Prowess: Strong quantitative, logical, and analytical skills are essential. At Prima, you'll tackle diverse and stimulating challenges that will put your skills to the test;

Curiosity and Innovation: We value curiosity, proactivity, and pragmatism. You'll be encouraged to pursue common goals in original and innovative ways, shaping the future with your ideas.

Nice-to-have:

Have international experience and are fluency in English;

Possess a solid foundation in programming and machine learning;

Know how to create, manipulate and analyze large datasets.
