Overview

Job description

Prima is an Italian tech company that has been disrupting the insurance industry since its launch in 2015, achieving € 170 million investment since 2018. Prima now boasts over 2 millions of active clients and has started its international expansion: it opened its operations in the UK and will be launched in Spain.

The role holder will assist the Italian Talent Managers and report to the Director of People and Culture with a wide range of initiatives such as HR inductions, probation confirmations or extension, D&I led programmes, local level ER cases as well as partner with the wider business and team. The role will require you to be the Italian point of contract as well as work closely with our Italian HR team to ensure our themes are aligned as a group strategy. We understand that our business thrives when our personnel thrive, and that starts by hiring the right people.

Specifically, you will take care of these tasks:

Business partnering:

  • Coaching Managers on people processes and policies
  • Strategic support and counselling to managers on termination processes and people related issues
  • Strategic support to managers in the people goal achievements (i.e. OKR)
  • Main owner of the application of all the initiatives and processes established on a global level or by the Chief People & Culture Officer
  • Direct interaction with the Chief People & Culture Officer to support her in all strategy and planning activities

Talent Management:

  • Support to the Global Head of Talent Management to ensure policies and initiatives are applied and delivered on a local level
  • Definition and creation of all the people and performance management reports
  • Main owner of key local engagement initiatives that reinforcement Prima’s mission and values
  • Deep work on People team’s growth and development

Administrative themes:

  • Guide to the People Delivery local team in terms of strategic processes and monitoring of activities efficiency
  • Main manager of all the HRIS stuff
  • Statistics, reports and data collection to support Prima's growth and cost monitoring
  • Regularly review and update policy and culture books
  • Regularly review and improvement of the current/new providers
  • Strategic guide for managers on how the italian work law works
  • Main owner of the compliance and protection of all the people data

Requirements

You are the ideal candidate or applicant if you meet the following requirements:


  • Advanced experience in project management and organisational tasks
  • Strong experience in data creation, analysis and consequent action plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving orientation
  • Utmost professionalism in handling sensitive cases
  • Smart use of all tools, like Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Solid experience in a fast paced environment
  • People related experience (mainly about Talent Management and workforce administration) within a tech scale-up environment
  • Strong knowledge of local Italian labour law

Working hours are Full Time and our contracts are regulated by the CCNL of Commerce.

Our office is in Piazzale Loreto 17, 20131 Milano (MI), but we also consider Full Remote hiring from other European countries and for our offices in Rome, London and Madrid.
