We are looking for a talented Group Tax Manager who will report to the Group Financial Reporting Manager (who directly reports to the Group CFO).

As a key member of our global finance team, you will lead the discussion on all tax aspects, providing advice to the Management on any new business initiative, and be responsible for shaping Group tax strategy, through the coordination of advisors and with direct interactions with the Board and supervisors.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in tax law and regulations, experience in managing tax compliance and a passion for providing exceptional business-oriented tax advice.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and managing tax plans, tax-related procedures and risk assessments, to ensure effective tax management throughout the Group, also with the support of external tax advisors
- Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on financial issues, including tax implications of business decisions and of unusual/extraordinary transactions
- Coordinating and overseeing the filing of regular tax returns, including income tax and other direct or indirect taxes for all Group entities with the support of a team of junior accounting specialists
- Managing intercompany transactions in accordance with transfer pricing policies
- Collaborating with the finance business partners for each business team to ensure our tax strategies and policies are implemented accurately in each country.
- Identifying and reporting potential risk areas around tax matters, working closely with the accounting and risk teams and external advisors to implement appropriate solutions.
- Overseeing and reviewing tax provision and related disclosures in annual financial statements
- Managing and coordinating tax audits

Requirements:
You are our ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:
- Outstanding academic background in accounting, taxation or economics
- Professional qualification of Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a global accounting environment or in tax firms
- Deep knowledge of the italian tax context and framework
- Positive mind-set, pragmatic attitude, ownership mentality and a "can do" attitude
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Willing to further grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong exposure to top management.
 
In addition to the basic requirements, we will appreciate these characteristics:
-Specific knowledge and experience on tax matters in UK and Spain
-Result oriented, coaching and time management skills
