We are looking for a data-driven and strategic-thinker Actuarial & Risk Analytics Analyst who will report to the Actuarial & Risk Analytics Manager and will work closely with the Finance team in Italy, Spain and UK. Our desired candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science and quantitative risk management, ideally with some experience in reserving or reinsurance and a strong interest in working in a high-growth, innovative environment. We are looking for a Specialist with an analytical and data-driven approach.

As an Actuarial & Risk Analytics Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and modelling insurance risks to support pricing, reserving, and capital management decisions.
- Developing and maintaining actuarial models, with a focus on technical performance monitoring and prediction, using both traditional statistical techniques as well as innovative machine learning models.
- Preparing reports and information flows for top management, Board of Directors and Risk Committee.
- Contributing to the development and implementation technical KPI (e.g. LR%,ULR%).
- Collaborating with other teams, such as pricing & underwriting and claims, to ensure data consistency and reflect the latest changes (e.g. release of new tariffs, change in claims management, etc.) in our models.

- Outstanding academic background in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry in a similar role, preferably in the non-life sector.
- A passion for programming languages, preferably R or Python.
- Content-driven, analytical mindset, with ability to get deep in the details as well as grasping the bigger picture and the business dynamics quickly.- Strong problem-solving and modelling skills.
- Fluent in english-
- Actuarial qualification not required but considered to be a plus (e.g. ONA, FIA).
- Strong knowledge of the insurance regulations at both local and EU level.
- Ability to reach the goals, with an “ownership” mentality.
