The Data Governance & BI Team are seeking a talented and motivated BI Engineer to join our team.
As a BI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our data processing systems.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and enabling maintenance of key data products for Prima Domains, ensuring our data's discoverability, security, and reliability.

As an integral member of our data team, the Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports.
Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs. Using your skills and experience as a BI Developer, you will then use those requirements to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data catalogue(s).
Responsibilities: Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirements Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards, created from potentially multiple data sources Participate with other specialists to convert legacy reports Transition developed reports and dashboards to the Operations & Support team providing support as required to ensure the availability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members Provide training and assistance to users for generation of adhoc reports Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes Monitor and develop ETL jobs to maintain enterprise data lakehouses
What we are looking for: Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines using Databricks and AWS Redshift Proved experience with Tableau, managing workflows, use of RestAPI Experience writing complex SQL queries Performance tuning experience related to reporting queries Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess and adjust quickly to their change 3+ years ofexperience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards, including working with users in a requirements analysis role Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations, knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts Being able to ensure data security that involves implementing appropriate access controls and data protection measures.
