The role:

As a Senior Software Engineer in the Claims Domain, you’ll be crucial in the evolution of the internal claims management platform. Together we will shape the next iteration of the platform, making it more scalable, flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the market.

The continuous improvement of the internal portal had enabled Prima to make dealing with the claims faster and efficient, making a stressful event easier to navigate, without the added weight of a complicated and difficult to understand process. We do that by challenging the idea that we are ever done, that there is no room for improvement, that we have provided the best solution to the problem at hand.

We are Alchemists by trade (we 💜 Elixir), but our stack includes also other popular languages, with an increasing love shown toward Rust.

Requirements:

You have 5 years experience in backend development

Good knowledge of Elixir or other functional programming language

You are passionate about programming and you are enthusiast about trying new technologies, regardless of the used language

You love to help other developers to grow and improve

You like to "do things in the right way" by using pattern design, refactoring and coding standards

You have experience in the world of Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing and CQRS.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Kafka and RabbitMQ

Experience with microservices architectures

Knowledge of relational databases (such as MySQL and PostgreSQL)
