We're looking for capable and motivated professionals for our Pricing and Underwriting team as Senior Motor Underwriter. Specifically, we are looking for an analytically minded underwriter profile who brings valuable experience in the correct and selective underwriting of risk, based on both quantitative and qualitative criteria. We want someone who is comfortable juggling multiple projects, who can communicate effectively and who can foster good working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

Specifically, you will be responsible for these activities:

Definition of the underwriting processes for new business entry, as well as renewal processes, always based on analytical and founded criteria.

Enhance pre-sale and post-sale validation processes to ensure the accuracy of pricing and underwriting.

Develop a close and efficient relationship with Customer Care and Claims teams to optimize contracting and retention processes based on data analytics.

Know and improve the coverage catalog, leading the development of potential product improvements.

Keep the business up to date with new regulatory and market trends within underwriting.

What we are looking for:

Strong knowledge of motor insurance, especially in online channels, as well as the insurance industry as a whole (around 2 to 5 years but this is just indicative).

Analytical ability, decisions based on numbers.

An "and why not" attitude, proactivity, restlessness, critical thinking, feeling comfortable working in a company in its early stages.

The ability to manage projects from scoping to delivery.

Eager to learn with the help of more experienced colleagues and grow quickly, taking on more responsibilities within the team.

It would be fantastic if:

You can create data sets using data extraction languages (such as MySQL or Redshift) or you have the will to learn it.

You have experience analyzing and monitoring reports and reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI
