Data Scientist - Global Team

What you'll do:

Be part of an international team that works closely with colleagues across Italy, the UK and Spain, navigating the different rhythms of a well-established market leader and the agility of quickly scaling startup hubs;

Leverage machine learning and advanced data analytics to design, build and evolve Prima’s proprietary predictive technology, in topics such as the prediction of future claims, tactical pricing, renewal probability, fraud detection and customer lifetime value, etc;

Analyze and interpret complex data to support strategic decision-making;

Define and support the implementation in each country of the key tools and monitoring to understand how the business is growing. Develop a strong critical spirit and creativity that can act as an engine for Prima's growth.

What we're looking for:

Strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Mathematical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Data Science or Statistics;

From recent graduates to people with at most 3 years of working/research experience;

Excellent English level, oral & written;

Curiosity, proactivity, and innovative thinking to drive new ideas and solutions.

Nice-to-have:

You have previous work experience in similar roles;

Good Python programming skills and proficiency with standard modeling libraries (Pandas, Sklearn. Keras, XGBboost, LightGBM, etc.);

Knowledge of Spark, SQL or any other data-oriented programming language;

Knowledge of BI tools (Tableau or similar);

Fluent use of GIT.
